John Wilkinson, born in 1961, is an English independent scientist specializing in organic chemistry, phytochemistry, pharmacognosy, and synergism in botanical medicines, foods, and ecological biochemistry. In 1994 he led the first European degree course in herbal medicine, at Middlesex University in the United Kingdom.
