William Cecil Campbell (born 28 June 1930) is an Irish and American microbiologist known for his work discovering a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworms. In 2015 he shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Tu Youyou and Satoshi Omura for their role in the discovery of the world's first endectocide, ivermectin.
