William G. Kaelin Jr. (born November 23, 1957) is an American Nobel laureate physician-scientist, professor of medicine at Harvard University and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In 2019 he won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Peter J. Ratcliffe and Gregg L. Semenza for their work on how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability.
