European Physical Science Laboratories

Laboratories and research societies of Europe devoted largely to physics and the physical sciences, including the great accelerator centre at CERN, the Cavendish Laboratory of Cambridge, the Max Planck Society and the Lebedev Physical Institute. An institution belongs here when its cited article places it in Europe and names physics or the physical sciences as its field. It excludes independent biomedical institutes, which sit in their own group.
