Ralph Connor (1907-1990) was an American organic chemist whose research spanned catalysis, synthesis, explosives and reaction mechanisms, and who served as a division chief on the National Defense Research Committee during the Second World War. He received the American Institute of Chemists Gold Medal in 1963, the Chemical Industry Medal in 1965, the Priestley Medal in 1967, and the King Medal for Service in the Cause of Freedom.
