Partha Sarathi Mukherjee

Partha Sarathi Mukherjee, born in 1973 in West Bengal, is an Indian inorganic chemist and professor in the Inorganic and Physical Chemistry department at the Indian Institute of Science, specializing in supramolecular and organometallic materials, organic nanostructures, molecular sensors and catalysis inside molecular nanocages. He received India's Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology in 2016, along with the INSA Young Scientists Medal in 2008 and the IUPAC Young Scientist Award in 2009, and holds fellowships from the Indian Academy of Sciences, The World Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Chemistry. He has served as a visiting professor at universities in South Korea, Germany and Japan.
