Astrophysics And Cosmology

This group collects the Physics subcategory's members whose work applies physics to the universe at the largest scales: the origin and evolution of the cosmos, general relativity, black holes, the Big Bang and the large-scale structure of spacetime. It is kept apart from this atlas's separate Astronomy subcategory, whose members are primarily observers of specific celestial objects, by its own focus on the underlying physical theory of the cosmos rather than the description or discovery of particular stars, planets or galaxies.
