Paleontologists

This group collects the Earth Sciences subcategory's members whose defining work concerns paleontology: the study of fossils and prehistoric life, from the founders who first described dinosaur and extinct-mammal fossils to modern paleobiologists working on the history of life recorded in rock. It is kept apart from this atlas's separate Life Sciences subcategory, whose members work primarily on living organisms rather than the fossil record.
