Amir Minniakhmetovich Ishemgulov (1960-2020) was a Russian biologist of Bashkir ethnicity who specialized in beekeeping science and apitherapy. He held a doctorate in biological sciences and from 1998 directed the Research Center for Beekeeping and Apitherapy of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In recognition of his research he was named an Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation in 2008 and received the Order of Salawat Yulayev along with gold medals from the Soviet exhibition of economic achievements known as VDNKh.
