Lee Sang-mook is a South Korean marine geologist and computational scientist who worked as a researcher at the Korea Ocean Research and Development Institute from 1998 to 2003 before joining Seoul National University in 2003, where he is a professor specializing in marine geology and geophysics and heads the university's undergraduate and graduate programs in computational science.
