Aage Niels Bohr (1922-2009) was a Danish nuclear physicist, the son of physicist Niels Bohr. He shared the 1975 Nobel Prize in Physics with Ben Mottelson and James Rainwater for work explaining the connection between collective and particle motion in atomic nuclei and the resulting non-spherical shapes of certain nuclei.
