Kai Manne Börje Siegbahn (1918-2007) was a Swedish physicist. He shared the 1981 Nobel Prize in Physics for developing high resolution electron spectroscopy, a technique he originally called Electron Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis and which is now generally known as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
