Yoseph Imry was an Israeli physicist who lived from 1939 to 2018, best known for taking part in the foundation of mesoscopic physics, a branch of condensed matter physics examining how systems between microscopic and macroscopic scales transition between these regimes while displaying quantum effects. He received the Rothschild Prize in 1996 and the Israel Prize in 2001. He received the Wolf Prize in Physics in 2016.
