Richard E. Taylor

Richard Edward Taylor (1929-2018) was a Canadian physicist and professor at Stanford University. He shared the 1990 Nobel Prize in Physics with Jerome Friedman and Henry Kendall for their pioneering investigations of deep inelastic scattering of electrons off protons and bound neutrons, experiments that provided essential evidence for the quark model of particle physics.
