Derived units of the SI that measure quantities of mechanics, formed from the metre, kilogram and second. They include the newton for force, the pascal for pressure, the joule for energy and the watt for power, each named for a scientist and each defined from the base units without any further constant. A unit belongs here when its cited article calls it an SI derived unit of force, pressure, work, energy or power. It excludes the base units, derived units of electromagnetism, heat and radiation, and units outside the SI.
