The University of Padua is a public research university in Italy, founded in 1222 and among the oldest in the world. Galileo Galilei taught mathematics there from 1592 to 1610, and Andreas Vesalius and William Harvey were also connected with its medical school, which made Padua a leading center of anatomy. The atlas links scientists to it where their cited articles say they studied or taught there.
