The University of Sussex is a public research university near Brighton, England, founded in 1961 as one of the new universities of its time and organized by broad schools of study rather than single departments. Kroto, who shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996 for the discovery of fullerenes, worked there. The atlas links scientists to it where their cited articles say they studied or taught there.
