Hans von Euler-Chelpin (1873-1964) was a German-born Swedish biochemist who shared the 1929 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Arthur Harden for their work on the fermentation of sugar and enzymes. He spent much of his career as a professor of general and organic chemistry at Stockholm University and later directed its Institute for Organic Chemical Research.
