This group collects the Life Sciences subcategory's members whose defining work concerns ecology and evolutionary biology: how species interact with their environment and with each other, and how species change over evolutionary time, from the founders of evolutionary theory to modern ecologists and evolutionary biologists. It is kept apart from Zoology and Botany, whose members work on the classification and biology of animals or plants specifically rather than environmental interaction and evolutionary change in general.
