Per Uhlen, born in 1969 in Uppsala, is a Swedish researcher in cell and molecular biology and professor of cell signaling at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. His research examines how cell signaling affects processes such as cell division, differentiation, and death in cancer and development, and he also uses three dimensional light sheet fluorescence microscopy and tissue clearing to map intact tumor samples and whole brains.
