Adolphus Ypey, also spelled Adolphus Ypeus or Adolf Ypey, lived from 1749 to 1822 and was a Dutch botanist and a Doctor of Philosophy and Medicine. He graduated from the University of Franeker and stayed on to lecture in botany, before later lecturing in medicine at the University of Leiden.
