Biswarup Mukhopadhyaya is an Indian theoretical high energy physicist and senior professor at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata, known for his research on high energy colliders, Higgs bosons, and neutrinos. He is an elected fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India, and received the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology in 2003 for his contributions to the physical sciences.
