Hong Wang is a Chinese mathematician known for her research in Fourier analysis and geometric measure theory, including solving the Kakeya conjecture in three dimensions. Her work also addresses Fourier restriction problems, Falconer conjecture, and Furstenberg sets. She was awarded the Fields Medal in 2026, becoming one of the first two Chinese citizens to receive it.
