John Pople

Sir John Anthony Pople was a British theoretical chemist awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1998, shared with Walter Kohn, for developing computational methods that let researchers calculate the properties of molecules using quantum mechanics. His methods and software became standard tools across chemistry for predicting molecular structure and behavior.
