Moungi Gabriel Bawendi (born 15 March 1961) is an American chemist and the Lester Wolfe Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, known for his advances in the chemical production of high-quality quantum dots. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2023 for this work.
