Ujjwal Maulik

Ujjwal Maulik is an Indian computer scientist born in 1965 who serves as a professor and former department head of Computer Science and Engineering at Jadavpur University in Kolkata. His research spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics and data science, including applications of AI in health care and intelligent transport systems, and he has authored twelve books and more than 400 research papers. He holds fellowships from the Indian National Academy of Engineering, IEEE and the International Association for Pattern Recognition, and has held visiting positions at Stanford University and institutions across Europe, Australia and Asia.
