The index of the atlas's own sub categories, the finer groupings minted under a wide category such as Disciplines or Experiments so a reader is not handed one flat list of dozens of entries. Minted in this structure wave alongside the tree it exists to hold; it excludes every entity that is not itself a sub category node, and excludes sub groups, which have no page of their own and hang their facts off the parent sub category instead.
