The University of Pennsylvania is a private Ivy League research university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which traces its founding to 1740 and counts Benjamin Franklin as its founder. Its Moore School of Electrical Engineering built ENIAC, one of the first general purpose electronic computers, and its medical and chemistry departments have produced many Nobel laureates. The atlas links scientists to it where their cited articles place them on its faculty or among its students.
