ETH Zurich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich, is a public research university founded in 1854 as the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School. Albert Einstein studied there, and its faculty and graduates in physics, chemistry, mathematics and engineering include many Nobel laureates.
