Universities and Colleges

Case Western Reserve University is a private research university in Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 1967 by the federation of the Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve University. The Michelson-Morley experiment of 1887, which failed to detect the luminiferous ether, was done on the campuses of its two predecessors. The atlas links scientists to it where their cited articles place them there, under either predecessor name as well.
