David Brian Charbonneau is a professor of Astronomy at Harvard University whose research focuses on developing novel techniques for the detection and characterization of exoplanets orbiting nearby, Sun-like stars. He shared the 2024 Kavli Prize in Astrophysics with Sara Seager for their ground-breaking work on the discovery and characterization of extra-solar planets and their atmospheres.
