Ole-Johan Dahl was a Norwegian computer scientist and professor of computer science at the University of Oslo, considered along with Kristen Nygaard to be one of the fathers of the Simula programming language and object-oriented programming. In 2001, Dahl and Nygaard won the ACM Turing Award.
